I had breast implants put in on Weds the 24th and I have been on pain meds all week. Today is the first day I could actually get up an walk around. My question is this, Is it normal to be bloated after surgery?? I am so bloated I cannot button my clothes. Anyone know if this is the norm or should I call my dr? I didnt wanna call her for something so minor if it is minor. Thanks in advance for your help!!!

You've had excessive trauma to your torso. Your body is trying to expel the damage as well as heal itself. Furthermore, since you've been inactive, you're not able to move enough to rid your body of water.
This is probably perfectly normal, however, if there is a fever, inflammation to the incision sites or excessive pain to the incision sites, call your doc immediately, as these are signs of infection. |
