Best answer:
When you say you had tests, are we talking X-Ray, MRI, CT...?
If you have had consistent lower back pain, it could be a number of things, ranging from a herniated disc, an annular tear, degenerative disc disease, etc..
There are many minimally invasive procedures you could consider, if interventional pain management fails. If you could get a provocative diagnostic reading, say your MRI showed a bulging L4L5 then you could have a discogram done at that level to confirm concordant pain at that level. Then, you may be a candidate for an endoscopic or discoscopic discectomy, a decompression, a spinal fusion (of last resort), a replacement, etc...
Short answer, HAVE THE APPROPRIATE DIAGNOSTIC TESTS DONE if you haven't already and consider interventional pain management (chiropracty, meds, P.T., etc...). |
