I have been see a chiropractor for about a month because I was having terrible problems with my neck. I have told him at least 3 times that I am awakened at night because my back hurts so bad that I can hardly move or take a deep breath. He says "That is just part of the natural healing process because your muscles are adjusting to having a straighter spine." My family doctor prescribed me xanax, flexeril, and ultram to help me get through the night, but it is not helping. My matress is top of the line and only 2 years old. I've tried using heat and ice. I guess the thing that just doesn't make sense is that it only happens at night or when I am trying to sleep. Isn't that weird???
Best answer:
it doesn't matter if your mattress is top of the line - is it comfortable? all that matters is that you are comfortable on it... not what design it is.
also, you might want to check out your pillow. if it's too low or too high, it will definately affect you. (ask your chiropractor about it) |
