Last night I was walking through a store and turned my head for a second to say something to the person I was with and ended up stepping on a paper sign which was on the ground and slipping and falling. I'm only 20 years old and have never had problems, but my lower back is really bothering me, as well as my upper back between my shoulder blade and spine, and my hip. It could be possible that its just bruises and stuff but I don't know if I want to risk it. My question is, what should I do? I filled out an accident report and ended up getting x-rays in the hospital last night. I don't know if I should contact an attorney or what. Someone please help.
