Benadryl is suppose to have a half life of 1 - 4 hours which keeps it in your system for up to about 8 hours.
From my experience, one Benadryl will keep me drowsy for 12 - 18 hours! Others can take it with no ill effects. It is one of those your mileage may vary type of drugs. |
