My father is employed by the federal government, and until I turned 22 I was on |
through work. After I turned 22 I was taken off the policy. I have had some problems with a root canal I had done, and I have a wisdom tooth coming in so I was going to ask him to look into getting me put back on (I'm 23 now). Is this possible? I was just wondering if anyone might know if this would be allowed. I know it will cost him more (I'll pay him the difference) but I'm not sure if it's even allowed. Thanks!!!
Best answer:
I do not think this is allowed. I believe that once you are over 18 you must be in school full time to be covered and once you are 22 you are no longer able to be covered..school or not. Why dont you try getting your own policy? If you are not employeed or low income there are medical assistance programs thru your state that you will be eligible for. |
